Gilberto and Maria Garcia

Gilberto & Maria Garcia have three boys, Matthew, Elijah, and Jeremiah. Originally from El Paso, they have been a part of the school since the beginning. They live on the property and are not only involved with the students, but with the families of the community. 

The Garcia's manage the day to day operations of the school as well as managing finances, planning and direction of building projects and planning and oversight of community outreach programs.

Gilberto also teaches a weekly church service Sundays at the school while Maria teaches the children's service. Elijah and Jeremiah lead worship with former graduates from the school.

Juan Carlos Solis


School Principal

Juan Carlos Solis, born in Pijijiapan, Chiapas, he´s been teaching at Colegio James R. Ganley since 2008. He is the principal of the school and teaches 5th and 6th grade.

He is teaching P.E. at Colegio S. Parker Gamwell and at Elementary´s after school program he´s also training the marching band.

Tina Rodriguez

Born in Tuxtepec, Oaxaca, she´s been a secretary at Colegio James R. Ganley since 2010. Tina is now the office manager and is in charge of the After School Program from grades First to Sixth, Tina enjoys crafts and sewing.

Osmara Velazquez

Born in Torreon Coahuila, Osmara spent 13 years teaching and has been in charge of Kindergarten for several years now, She enjoys reading and working.

Edgar Jimenez

Born in Pijijiapan, Chiapas, this is his first year teaching at Colegio James R. Ganley, He´s currently teaching First grade and Social Studies at Colegio S. Parker Gamwell, Edgar enjoys playing soccer in his free time.

Darinel Gutierrez

Born in Tonala Chiapas, this is his first year teaching at Colegio Ganley, currently teaching 5th grade and Technolgy at Junior High (Colegio S. Parker Gamwell), Daniel enjoys reading, walks and editing.

Jose Galvan

Born in San Pedro Tapanantepec, Jose, has been teaching for ten years and has been a teacher at Colegio James R. Ganley since 2019, he´s also the counselor at Colegio S. Parker Gamwell. Jose currently teaches 3rd and 4th grade.
